Jake Paul Dismisses Tyson Fury’s Warning: ‘I Smell Cap’

Jake Paul seems unfazed by all the factors that threaten him to lose his unbeaten record in an upcoming clash against Tommy Fury. While the British team is being led by elite guidance of WBC champion Tyson Fury and his father John Fury, Paul still believes he can defeat ‘TNT’ Tommy Fury on December 18 in Miami, Florida.

The eight-rounds cruiserweight bout will see two undefeated surging stars step inside the ring for a high-voltage fight. While Paul’s 4-0 record has zero professional boxers as victims, even TNT’s 7-0 record doesn’t boast of top-tier opponents. Thus, it’s a perfect matchup to host at the time.

Well, WBC champion Tyson Fury believes his brother is way above Jake Paul when it comes to the boxing drills. He predicted an official outcome of the fight on interaction with BT Sport, which clearly didn’t sit well with ‘The Problem Child’ and the 24-year-old put out an instant reaction.

Tyson Fury said, “Tommy can have his worst night ever and still beat Jake Paul. He can probably turn up with broken ribs, a broken left hand, two left feet. He is close from back to front, and with a flu and still beat Jake Paul.”

As a response, Jake Paul wrote on Twitter, “I smell Cap”

Jake Paul is under the guidance of BJ Flores and J-Leon Love, the same team that helped him beat Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren. However, Tommy Fury shall offer a much bigger threat than the MMA champions turned boxers. Meanwhile, a common sparring partner of Paul and Fury has recently revealed some insights that might worry ‘The Problem Child’.

Can Jake Paul stand toe-to-toe against Tommy Fury?

While Paul might have a great team that has helped him defeat fighters like Askren and Woodley. What he needs is some professional experience, and that is currently lacking. He has his fair chances of beating Tommy Fury. However, his ex-sparring partner Ahmed Elbiali has seen no special ability when he sparred Paul.

Recalling his experience with Fury and Paul, he said, “In sparring comparison, I would say Tommy [Fury] has the complete edge. With Jake, I really didn’t throw many punches and they told me that I went too rough.”

Well, sparring is very different from a real fight, and Paul clearly knows that. The official build-up of Paul and Fury has seen both sides take jibes at each other. Hence, the stage is set for an electrifying collision and we stand just a few weeks away from seeing it happen.
