Little Mix have revealed that they ‘cried all day’ before announcing that they would be taking a break from the band, and we’re not emotionally stable enough for this.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall broke hearts when they announced they would be taking a hiatus after their Confetti tour, with the trio recording an emotional performance on the Graham Norton Show just moments afterwards.

After supporting each other through the heart-wrenching song, Jade warned Graham: ‘Don’t start us off again!’

‘Cried all day haven’t we?’ she added.

The girls went on to say that they wanted to take a break at their ‘peak’ but it still wasn’t an easy decision.

‘Even now in the Whatsapp group, we’re like, “Sure you wanna do it hun?”’ Jade laughed.

However, they went on to affirm that they’ll ‘always come back together.’

The promise came after the trio were left visibly emotional during their performance of Between Us, with Jade, 28, pulling Leigh-Anne, 30, and Perrie, 28, in for a sweet hug at the end.

Fans were heartbroken watching, with one writing on Twitter: ‘The emotion is so real, you can feel it. NOTHING COMES BETWEEN LITTLE MIX.’

‘Little Mix are here to stay,’ another said, while one more added: ‘This is breaking my heart.’

This week, the girls announced that they would be taking a step back following their Confetti tour.

‘We wanted to let you all know that after the Confetti tour in April/May next year we are going to be taking a break from Little Mix,’ they wrote.

‘It’s been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects.

‘We can’t thank you enough for your love and never-ending support since the beginning. We love you all SO much.’
