What is the plot of The Witcher season 2?

In the final moments of season one, Geralt and Ciri finally crossed paths, having been connected by destiny.

In season two, Geralt’s top priority is ensuring he keeps Ciri safe and so he decides to take her to Kaer Morhen, the home of the witchers where he grew up.

At the start, Geralt is convinced that Yennefer is dead, after she unleashed a huge amount of power at the Battle of Sodden.

However, we know from first look images and trailers that Yennefer is going to meet Ciri, meaning that a reunion with Geralt is also likely on the cards.

All the while, Ciri is exploring the mysterious power inside her, which she is yet to understand.
