Man who helped people fraudulently gain visas FINALLY jailed after seven years

A FUGITIVE is finally in jail for his part in ­running a network that helped people cheat the immigration system.

Salman Shahzad was ringleader of a gang which helped people fraudulently gain visas to run businesses in the UK.

Shahzad, 45, was arrested when he tried to return to the UK under a false identity

But he fled to Pakistan before his sentencing.

The rest of the gang were locked up for a total of 20 years at Harrow crown court in 2014.

Shahzad, 45, was arrested when he tried to return to the UK under a false identity.

He was extradited from Dublin on Friday and returned to the UK to serve his term of eight years, nine months.
