The phrase Love is Blind might well be true for Gogglebox star Woody Cook, who bonded with his new girlfriend over a burning incense session.
The son of Zoe Ball and Norman Cook is dating psychology student Nell Williams, and he opened up about the blossoming relationship at Attitude Magazine’s 101 Awards.
The former Circle reality star said the couple were friends before taking the next step. ‘We’ve been together for about nine months and are really happy together. We met through mutual mates and had known each other a while before dating.’
Things obviously got off to a positive start after the pair bonded trying to dispel their surroundings of any negative vibes. ‘We were in my bedroom burning incense and negative energy – and things went from there,’ he added.
They are well suited as a match with Woody, 20, admitting that Nell is similar to him in that they both long for adventure and excitement.
‘I am a bit of a crazy character, so I want someone who is as crazy or crazier than me. I want someone to grab my hand and take me on a crazy adventure rather than ground me.
‘Nell does that. She makes life exciting.’
Woody previously opened up about finally being comfortable with his bisexuality after explaining to Attitude Magazine he felt ‘confused’ for a long time as he was growing up.

‘I feel if I was gay, it would be more clear-cut. I just kept going around and around in my head; some days, I’d feel 100% straight; some days, I’d feel 100% gay. I used to say it was, like, my gay time of the month, as it was affected by the full moon,’ he joked.
He also admitted it had taken some time for those around him to fully accept the idea, one of which was his mum, TV presenter Zoe.
‘I’ve had people say to me, “Oh, you’re just saying you’re bisexual because it’s trendy,” and I’m, like, “No, my sexuality is not a bloody trend!”

‘My mum was, like, “You can’t be. You like girls.” I said, “Er… yes, that’s what bisexual is.” She said, “Isn’t bi just gay people before they know they’re gay? I don’t know any bisexuals.”
‘I pointed out that some of our family friends were probably bisexual, which she didn’t really think about before.’
