I’m A Celebrity 2021: Another storm set to hit as bosses prepare Celebrity Cyclone challenge

This year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has been hit with more twists and turns than any other series to date and it looks like another spanner has been thrown in the works with Strom Barra set to hit.

News of the latest weather crisis comes after Storm Arwen, which resulted in the celebrities evacuating the castle and the live show being off-air for four nights.

Now, the upcoming snowstorm could potentially bring up to four inches of snow, 70mph winds and rain.

However, bosses are adamant the show won’t take drastic measures like before, as they were seen setting up the wet and windy obstacle course for the Celebrity Cyclone challenge, which sees the stars make their way up an incline dressed as superheroes, complete with capes and dashing goggles.

Dame Arlene Phillips, who was the latest to leave the castle, shed light on what the campmates got up to when they were forced the leave Gwrych Castle on Monday’s Good Morning Britain.

She said: ‘We got taken into separate houses, we were given some food. For me, it was a blessing in [disguise]. It was weird being in isolation.’

There’s still a week left to go before next Sunday’s final, and a lot can happen in that time, but, as it stands, Ladbrokes have footballer David Ginola as the favourite to win.

He is closely followed by Emmerdale’s Danny Miller and former Saturdays singer and TV personality Frankie Bridge who are joint second.

The hit survival series is proving an emotional experience for the campmates this year, and it was too much for soap legend Adam Woodyatt who broke down in tears on Sunday.

Speaking during their final meal as a full group before the elimination, the campmates shared their thoughts on the programme so far and thanked one another for their time together.

Discussing his journey in the camp, Adam started: ‘You find out about yourself… you find out… why am I getting emotional?’

He struggled to complete his sentiments after finding himself overcome with emotion.
