I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star Dame Arlene Phillips has revealed what she got up to when the campmates left the castle during Storm Arwen, and it sounds pretty relaxing.
The TV star became the first eliminated contestant of the series last night after receiving the least votes.
It came days after I’m A Celeb spent three nights off air due to the huge storm wrecking the surrounding areas of the castle.
Many viewers have wondered what happened when the campmates, including Frankie Bridge and Naughty Boy, got up to when they were forced to leave the castle in Wales – did they get to use social media? Did they order takeaway?
Well, Dame Arlene has put us out of our misery and shed light on their days away from the castle.
She said on Monday’s Good Morning Britain: ‘We definitely didn’t get our phones back, I wish. The only thing we had to watch was Netflix, no news, no family contact, nothing. We spent a day in the castle, we didn’t know where we were going to go, what was going to happen.
‘We got taken into separate houses, we were given some food. For me it was a blessing in [disguise]. It was weird being in isolation.’

Revealing her DIY hair makeover, she added cheekily: ‘For me it was great because I was able to do my roots.
‘When we went back into the castle, we just immediately got on with the job at hand.
Recalling her time on the series overall, Dame Arlene admitted: ‘It’s really tough in there, I had prepared myself for it but it’s tougher than you think… It’s non-stop.
‘It’s an adventure of a lifetime, it really is.’
Just 10 celebrities remain in the competition now, with the final due to take place next Sunday.

Speaking to the hosts following her exit, the former Strictly Come Dancing judge said she was ‘in a way relieved’.
‘You know, I want to see my family, but [I’m] emotional because of everything this has been, the highs and the lows, it’s been something in my life that I never imagined doing and it’s been extraordinary,’ she explained.
I’m A Celebrity returns tonight at 9pm on ITV.
