Strictly Come Dancing star Dan Walker was back on BBC Breakfast following his exit from the show, which left co-presenter Sally Nugent close to tears.
The 44-year-old newsreader and professional partner Nadiya Bychkova were the latest to leave the hit dance series, after landing in the dance-off against AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington, meaning he missed a spot in the semi-finals next weekend.
But, it was back to business for Dan, as he returned on the red sofa with Sally, who surprised him with a special montage which highlighted his Strictly best bits,
‘I had a lip wobble,’ said Sally, who was on the verge of tears, after watching Dan’s performances.
‘You’ve worked here, you don’t live in London, you’ve got three kids, lots of other demands, three jobs, a dog to walk every day, lots of people to look after.
‘And you’ve still managed to fit all of this in which is incredible.’

The presenter later expressed that he’s not ‘sad it’s over’ but insisted he’ll miss training with Nadiya every week.
‘I’m just happy that it happened in the first place, so that’s the way I’m looking at it, said Dan.
The star’s time on the popular programme divided viewers, after some claimed the show is rigged.
However Dan put trolls in their place with a defiant Twitter post and wrote: ‘Thank you to everyone who is sending lovely messages & enjoying us having fun on #Strictly.

‘And to the few who say… ‘Just leave’, ‘Aren’t you ashamed?’, ‘You’re a disgrace’, ‘It’s a fix’ (which I don’t get) or ‘Who is voting for them?
‘IT’S A TV SHOW.’
Piers Morgan couldn’t help but take a swipe at the star’s exit from the show, after commenting on Dan’s latest Instagram picture of him and Nadiya.
He wrote: ‘You came 5th, mate, she needed a better pupil.’

However, Dan clapped back at the outspoken journalist with a cheeky reference to the memorable moment Piers stormed off the set of Good Morning Britain this year.
Dan responded: ‘Morning. I did think about walking off when @CraigRevHorwood gave me some grief in week 2 but… who does that?’
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 7.05pm on BBC One.
