Warning for millions of Apple fans NOT to buy new iPhone model

A TIKTOKER has highlighted why shoppers should think twice before buying the latest iPhone this Christmas.

In a recent video, Kevin Hirschberg explained why he thinks splashing out on an iPhone 13 is a “bad idea” – and a waste of your cash.

A TikTok star has shared his opinion on why you should think twice before buying an iPhone 13

He told his 100,000 TikTok followers that other iPhone models are either better value for money or offer enhanced features.

“If you want an iPhone, you should get one, but just not the 13,” Kevin, who posts under the username @tech_circuit, said in a clip uploaded October 25.

Apple released the iPhone 13 worldwide earlier this year as part of a lineup of four new models.

They’re the iPhone 13 Mini (£679/$699), iPhone 13 (£779/$799), iPhone 13 Pro (£949/$999) and iPhone 13 Pro Max (£1,049/$1,099).

The Pro models come with better cameras and displays while the 13 and 13 Mini have fewer flagship features and are on the cheaper end of the spectrum.

They match up with last year’s range, which comprises the iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

According to Kevin, shoppers looking for better value should opt for the iPhone 12 over the iPhone 13 this Christmas.

That’s because the 12 boasts many of the same features as the 13 but has a much lower price tag.

“If you don’t need Pro features, buy the iPhone 12 or 12 Mini and you can easily save $150 and essentially get the same phone,” Kevin said.

Anyone who wants the latest iPhone features and the best possible camera should gun for the 13 Pro or 13 Pro Max, he added.

“If you really need a better camera and Pro features, get the 13 Pro,” Kevin said.

“Pro devices are actually a lot better than the regular ones, so the 13 is not worth it this year.”

Whichever Apple mobile you decide to buy, it’s recommended that you place your order sooner rather than later due to high demand around the holidays.

The company recently provided a handy list of order-by dates for free UK delivery across all products.

Customers hoping to bag an iPhone 13 for the holidays, for instance, should make a purchase online or in-store by December 22, according to the company.

The cutoff date for delivery of older models like the iPhone 12 and iPhone SE is the same, while the iPhone 11 falls a week earlier, on December 15.
