Kadeena Cox has spoken following her exit from I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, revealing the impact her eating disorder had on her rows with Naughty Boy while cooking meals in camp.

Kadeena and Naughty Boy didn’t quite see eye to eye during the series at times, getting into a row over the cooking on more than one occasion.

The Paralympic gold medalist has previously spoken about her experiences with body dysmorphia and an eating disorder – and she’s now revealed how affected her approach to cooking in camp.

Presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly came into camp to deliver the news, with Kadeena joining them shortly after for an interview after her exit.

She said of Naughty Boy: ‘It was a challenging situation. I love him and I think we’ll be really good friends out of this situation. Had we both not been in the kitchen it would have been fine, but we just butted heads over the cooking.’

The 30-year-old added: ‘He’s very chilled, laid back and does things his way. I am an athlete, I’m very regimented. I also have an eating disorder so I’m always trying to portion and control. It was just constant head butting.’

Kadeena previously spoke to the Mirror about her eating disorder before entering camp, saying: ‘It’s something that I’ve spoken about with my psychiatrist and I’ve kind of put things in place. I’m in a really good place and I spent the last two or three years working really hard to get to where I am right now.

‘The Paralympics is a point at which I realised I was more in control of my eating disorder than it was in control of me. But I’m hoping I’m just in a good place,’ she added.

‘Rather than struggling with my eating disorder I’m hoping that I will be able to showcase recovery and allow people with eating disorders to see that there is light at the end of the tunnel,’ she explained.
