Kerry Katona buying £1.9m mansion in Cheshire – and reveals she’s got a designer bag collection worth £37,500

KERRY Katona has revealed her plans on buying a £1.9m mansion in Cheshire and has confessed that she owns a designer bag collection worth £37,500.

The Atomic Kitten singer, 41, has previously been declared bankrupt twice in five years – once in 2008, and again in 2013.

But earlier this year it was revealed that the TV star is a millionaire again after raking it on OnlyFans, three years on from her second bankruptcy.

This meant that the celeb and her family were able to move into a luxurious Cheshire mega-mansion over the summer, which costs her £9,500-a-month in rent.

And soon, hopefully it will all be hers.

Kerry recently told The Times: “I’ve been renting for 13 years and I’m so excited to get on the property ladder.

“I’m hoping to buy the house I’m renting. It’s in Alderley Edge in Cheshire and I’ve been here since June, after moving from down south.

“I’ve put an offer in for £1.9m and it’s been accepted. Being given a mortgage in principle is massive for me.”

The star also opened up about her spending habits – and she has a pretty impressive designer bag collection.

Kerry confessed: “I’m a saver, but I like to spend as well. My priorities are rent, food and school fees.

“I come last, but I do love a bit of Gucci! I’m a nightmare for shoes and bags.”

“This January just gone, we bought some beautiful briefcases for £800 each, reduced from about £1500.

“I’ve got so many bags, it’s ridiculous. Maybe 25? Mainly Gucci, but there’s Fendi, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Mulberry, Burberry. It sounds awful, but they’re probably about £1500 each. My most expensive is a £3500 Louis Vuitton.”

Back in June Kerry gave fans a tour of her new pad.

The mansion boasts a home gym, an office area and luxurious bedrooms with ensuite bedrooms.

Originally there were plans for the family to live there for six months after the purchase of the £2million home she was hoping to buy fell through.

In true MTV Cribs style, Kerry welcomed viewers in via the front door in a video posted on her YouTube channel.

She then showed off the “absolutely gorgeous” hallway and spa-style downstairs bathroom.

She added: “This bathroom is my favourite in the world” before adding quickly: “It’s just crossed my mind, this isn’t me showing off.

“I know how it feels. I had to sell my jukebox because I couldn’t pay my rent. I know how f***ing hard it is, pardon my French.

“This isn’t me going: ‘Look at my big mansion’. It isn’t that at all. It’s: ‘Look at what I’ve achieved.’ I’m really proud of myself, I’m not ashamed to say that. I’m not bankrupt any more.”

She told fans she had “so many mixed emotions” about the move back up north, where she lived before moving to East Sussex.

Kerry said: “Leaving Crowbrough is very weird. I was crying – it was shutting a chapter on my life.

“I lived here when I lost everything. I was a millionaire and I lost everything. I was doing loads of drugs and went into bankruptcy, lost my houses.

“Now I’m just about to get the keys to my new house. It’s all very, very, very overwhelming. But I’m also extremely proud of myself.”

Kerry previously lived in Surrey with her fiance Ryan Mahoney and her children, Heidi, 14, and Max, 13, from her marriage to Mark Croft, and seven-year-old Dylan-Jorge, daughter of her late ex-husband George Kay.
