WWE Raw Results: The Miz Accuses Edge of Treating Him Like a Peasant, Leads to a Massive Match at Day 1 PPV

The WWE Universe witnessed the return of The Rated R Superstar Edge last week on Monday Night Raw after his victory against Seth Rollins in one of the best Hell in a Cell match in WWE’s history at Crown Jewel PPV.

However, he was soon welcomed by the former WWE champion, The Miz with whom Edge had quite a verbal altercation. Now, both the superstars are genius on the mics and the WWE Universe witnessed nothing short of verbal arm wrestling.

Eventually, on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN, WWE Hall of Famer, Edge joined The Miz on “Miz TV”.

Edge and The Miz going crazy on the microphone

WWE Hall of Famer Edge promised The Miz to show up on his Miz TV on tonight’s episode. However, before Edge came out, Miz took the microphone and announced his wife Maryse is not coming because of the people in Memphis.

Soon the former WWE champion The Rated R Superstar made his way out as the WWE Universe welcomed him with a huge pop.

Both men sit down on a chair in the middle of the ring, and Edge confessed that whatever he said about The Miz last week, he still thinks it’s true and Edge believes Miz has improved a ton.

However, The Miz was in no mood of making amends with the Hall of Famer. Miz stated that “Edge has lost his edge.” to which Edge said replied that he liked the pun.

Miz constantly targeted the mental state of the Ultimate Opportunist and stated that if Edge was any younger, then he would’ve speared Miz out of his $9,000 shoes last week.

When Edge asked why Miz has so much hatred for him, Miz said that he needed his kindness when he first got into WWE, when he was walking around on eggshells, when he was kicked out of the locker room for being an outcast and ostracized, for having the ‘It Factor’.

Miz accused the Hall of Famer and confessed that everyone treated him like a peasant in the locker room because everyone was busy protecting Edge.

The two men stand and then Miz challenged him for a match at WWE Day 1 PPV, to which the former accepted without hesitation. Eventually, the Hall of Famer dropped Miz with a punch before leaving the ring.
