Joe Rogan’s Next Return to UFC Commentary Booth Confirmed- Will Partner with Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik
UFC 269 is almost upon us and fans are excited to see the blockbuster fight card close out the year. 2021 has produced some notable fight cards with UFC 257, UFC 261, UFC 264, and UFC 268 coming in as clear stand-outs. There’s a lot on the line at UFC 269 and the UFC looked towards the A-list commentary team to call the action.
Long-time veteran Joe Rogan returns to the commentary bench and will be accompanied by Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik. The aforementioned trio are the star-studded heavy hitters who have been anointed as the flagship starting roster. This year has seen Rogan sit on the sidelines for PPV’s and fans will be happy to see him back in action via MMA Junkie.

Joe Rogan: A staple feature at UFC PPV’s
Rogan has been part of the UFC machine from back in the early days of the company and he’s lent his voice to some iconic moments. However, over the years, his involvement has seen a significant downturn, and he hasn’t been a staple fixture anymore.
Due to his commitments in the world of comedy and podcasting, Rogan has sat out some marquee UFC pay-per-views. One notable instance of this was when Rogan didn’t attend UFC 266, starring Alexander Volkanovski vs Brian Ortega as he was on a hunting trip. But, absence makes the heart grow fonder and fans want to see Rogan on the airwaves again.
UFC 269 is headlined by Charles Oliveira looking to register his first title defense against Dustin Poirier. This is a pivotal match-up for ‘Do Bronx’ as many fans consider Poirier to be the best lightweight fighter on the roster. This is Charles Oliveira’s chance to shut down his detractors and ensure he clinches a clinical victory.

Additionally, Amanda Nunes also looks to defend her strap against Julianna Pena, who has talked a big game. ‘The Venezuelan Vixen’ has taken every opportunity at hand to fire shots at Nunes and fans want to see them square off. Other notable names on the card include Sean O’Malley taking on Raulian Paiva and Kai Kara France, returning against Cody Garbrandt.
