Grand Designs House of The Year viewers will see even Kevin McCloud struggle to find the words to sum up one of the contenders shown during tonight’s episode of the Channel 4 show.
The upcoming episode will see one house crowned the champion of the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) award for House of The Year.
Wednesday night’s programme focuses on houses that reinvent beloved types of buildings.
There are five more houses vying for a place on the shortlist of the prestigious competition, but just one more spot on the shortlist is up for grabs.
One of the homes featured tonight has been shared with Metro.co.uk in an exclusive clip is a gorgeous modern oast house.
The home is a 21st-century reboot of the classic Kentish oast, which features three roundels each performing a different function in the makeup of the home.

In the sneak-peek, Kevin is seen making his way through the breathtaking property as he gives some more detail about what exactly fans can see on-screen.
The presenter explains: ‘Crafted from solid oak and laminated birch ply, it carries you up to a gallery, which is an upstairs living room.

‘Then, you are sent through each of the three remaining roundels to a private turret top bedroom
That seems to be the icing on the architectural cake for Kevin, as he gasps: ‘Oh, my word, heavens above.

‘This looks like it was made by a race of giant bees who are adept at handling plywood.
Expressing his surprise at the structure, he says: There’s something not quite human in scale or pattern here

‘It’s as if it’s beyond to the invertebrate world… it’s magical.’
The new build possesses a double-height living room on the first floor and a curved landing provides access to the 3 bedrooms that are housed in the three remaining roundels – which Kevin displays in the clip.

On approach to the truly unique house, there are five shimmering towers peeping through the treetops, which lead to the impressive property.
Other homes to be featured tonight include a low-key eco-home which turns the idea of the country house on its head in Devon, a cool contemporary reimagining of the suburban family house in Surrey, and an elegant reinvention of the familiar Victorian terrace in London.

Viewers will see Kevin, design expert Michelle Ogundehin and architect Damion Burrows complete their tour of the homes longlisted by RIBA.
But only one can be the winner of the coveted House of the Year accolade.
Grand Designs: House of the Year concludes tonight at 9pm on Channel 4.
