NASCAR Truck Team Hill Motorsports Announces Exciting News for 2022

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team, Hill Motorsports, recently announced the decision to field two cars in the 2022 season. The team posted a picture of the press release on their Twitter account.

The press release described, “Team Owner Timmy Hill believes the timing is right to expand for the upcoming season.”

It’s so rewarding to see this programme continue to progress each year and I’m excited to have the pieces in place to take the next step for our organization with a second truck,” said Timmy Hill.

I’m really looking forward to competing full-time next year. I certainly think we can surprise some people and hopefully be a regular contender at the front of the field.”

The upcoming season will be Hill’s first season in the Truck Series as a full-timer. In the last three seasons, the team has scored once in the top five, four times in the top 10, and  19 times in the top 20.

Their best finish came in the year 2020 with 20th place in the standings and 403 points.

Hill Motorsports becomes the sixth team in the NASCAR Truck Series to have two Toyotas

Along with the No. 56 Toyota Tundra Pro, Hill Motorsports’ second truck will also be from the Japanese company.

They join teams such as Kyle Busch Motorsports, Hattori Racing Enterprises, On Point Motorsports, Halmar Friesen Racing, and ThorSport Racing. All of these teams have two Toyota trucks in their lineup.

Timmy Hill and the No.56 team will begin the next season at the Daytona International Speedway on February 18th. However, they’re yet to announce the partners for the No.56 team, which, according to the press release, will be announced in the future.

Also, the team hasn’t revealed the second driver or the truck number. Such details are also to be revealed in the upcoming days.
