WATCH: Dale Earnhardt Jr Finally Unveils His New Xfinity Car for the 2022 NASCAR Season
In 2022, Dale Earnhardt Jr will be back in the saddle in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Recently, the veteran driver unveiled the car that he will pilot at the Martinsville Speedway next year. In all honesty, the car does look pretty good, with a primary color scheme of white. However, the Chevrolet Camaro also sports dashes of deep blue and yellow, with his familiar #88 number.

It is worth mentioning that the JR Motorsports driver will have Hellmann’s Fridge Hunters as an official sponsor. Furthermore, Dale Jr‘s Martinsville run will take place on April 8. Of course, since this is just a one-off appearance, the driver will be sharing his car will be Miguel Paludo.
What to expect from Dale Earnhardt Jr in 2022?
Admittedly, nobody is really expecting any miracles from the veteran driver. However, the 47-year-old has been known for delivering decent results, even during one-off appearances. In fact, his last win came in 2016 for JR Motorsports at the Richmond Raceway. Aside from that, he has been able to score multiple Top 5 and Top 10 finishes in his Xfinity Series career.

This brings his total career Xfinity wins to 24, in addition to 26 Cup Series wins, making it 50 total wins. Whether he will add to that tally is anybody’s guess, but Dale Jr. is still confident that he still has some fight left in him. After all, it isn’t surprising to see NASCAR drivers trying to stretch their careers for as long as possible. Dale Earnhardt Jr. is hardly the exception, and he will continue racing for a long time.
For the moment, he is happy to keep managing his JR Motorsports team. Next year, he has a talented line up of Justin Allgaier, Josh Berry, Noah Gragson and Sam Mayer. Together, the quartet should be in a strong position to challenge for the Xfinity Series title.
