Fittingly, her current tattoo is perfect for her magnificent personality. From all the adversities and the troubles she went through, she inked the words of a famous poem by Maya Angelou named ‘Still I Rise.’

The poem speaks about the importance of self-confidence and self-respect, despite all the criticisms one receives. Angelou’s work in literature is well respected around the world. Some of her famous poems are ‘Phenomenal Women’ and ‘Just for a Time’.

Simone’s first tattoo is an Olympics rings tattoo underneath her right arm, celebrating her glorious debut at the mega-quadrennial games. She has a tattoo of her birth year, 1997, inked on her elbow. Another tattoo visible is on her inner left wrist. That has the words ‘golden’ etched on her hands; however, she has not unveiled what it means yet.
