David Ginola and Danny Miller are the latest stars to take on a trial on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here – and it’s a treadmill with a difference.

In a first-look video ahead of tonight’s episode, David is seen taking on the Drawbridge Over Troubled Water challenge – and doing remarkably well.

He is seen with a bowl of coloured water on his head which he is trying not to spill, while running along a treadmill, also trying to avoid swinging logs from knocking him over.

In a trial that looks more fitting for Total Wipeout than I’m A Celebrity, the former footballer was cheered on by Ant and Dec as he pulled off the challenge remarkably well.

The hosts are also seen chanting ‘Ginola! Ginola! Ginola!’ as he reaches the end of the track to pour the water from a bowl into a receptacle, before falling to his knees and letting the conveyor belt carry him back.

David taking part in the trial comes after the campmates lost his and Adam Woodyatt’s letters from home in another challenge.

He had been eagerly awaiting hearing from his girlfriend and young children, but two opportunities were missed to win him his letter from home.

After the campmates initially didn’t want to tell him what the Castle Coin Challenge prize was, Danny had a change of heart and told him: ‘I just need to be honest with you, this afternoon, the challenge, we lost it and didn’t get anything. One of them was letters from home.’

David asked: ‘What? My letter?’, to which Danny admitted: ‘Yours and Adam’s. But we lost both of them because we didn’t get the answer right.’

Later, David said in the Bush Telegraph: ‘Once again I don’t have my letter. That letter from my girlfriend would have boosted me a lot,’ adding to Adam, David: ‘It’s a bl**dy joke.’

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs weekdays from 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
