Nick Kyrgios Calls Out Novak Djokovic Over Their Head To Head Record

Nick Kyrgios is always in and around the headlines with his frank comments about fellow players on the ATP and WTA tours. After ending his 2021 season following the Laver Cup, the tennis star started the ‘No Boundaries’ podcast with his friends in Australian.

The podcast is true to its name and delivers Kyrgios’ unfiltered opinions.

Recently, Nick Kyrgios made a promotional post on his Instagram page for his latest podcast episode, on which the Australian hosted his first guest star. Australian comedian and impersonator Elliot Loney made a special appearance on episode 4 of the No Boundaries podcast.

Additionally, in the caption for the post, Kyrgios asked fans which guest stars they would like to see on the show. After that, the Instagram page for his podcast, the ‘noboundariesshow‘, commented,@djokernole what we thinking”.

Not only did the show talk about bringing World No. 1 Novak Djokovic on the show, but they also tagged him directly. No doubt, this move was in order to get the Serbian’s attention.

However, the funniest thing about the entire thing is Nick Kyrgios’ reply itself. The Australian replied, “He at least going to try and level the head to head,” in response to the comment on Novak Djokovic.

Kyrgios is of course talking about the head-to-head record between the two players, which heavily leans in the Nick’s favor. The two players have met only twice, in 2017, when Kyrgios beat Novak on both occasions. Moreover, in both their meetings, Kyrgios prevailed in straight sets over the Serbinator.

Not too many people on the ATP Tour can boast a positive head-to-head against the World No. 1. The 26-year-old has the impressive achievement of beating all of the ‘Big 3’ in his first meeting against them. Would you like to see Nole and Nick collaborate for an episode of the No Boundaries podcast?
