Shaquille O’Neal Once Discussed Wrestling WWE Legend André the Giant: “I Would Have Beat Him Like I Beat Charles Barkley”

Shaquille O’Neal is a former basketball player. He is even regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time. But basketball is not the only sport that Shaquille O’Neal had got himself associated with so far.

He even made appearances in the wrestling industry. Back in 2016, the former basketball player discussed wrestling WWE legend, André the Giant.

In an interview on The Dan Patrick Show, Shaquille described what would have happened if he had wrestled André the Giant. He said, “I would have beat him like I beat Charles Barkley.” Well, it is an interesting claim by Shaquille.

Shaquille made appearances in four different wrestling promotions- WCW, Impact Wrestling, AEW and WWE. He even took part in a match back at WrestleMania 32. The former basketball player was a surprise entrant in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Shaquille had a confrontation with Big Show on that night before getting eliminated. The two were then supposed to face each other later on. But unfortunately, the match got canceled. Do you all agree with Shaquille O’Neal?

The Undertaker revealed who he thinks is the closest to André the Giant

Well, it is almost impossible to replace a legend like André the Giant. In an interview on WWE The Bump, The Undertaker revealed Omos is the closest to André the Giant. Standing over seven feet tall, André the Giant became the inaugural and sole inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Omos is currently in a tag team with AJ Styles. But will most likely get his singles run soon. It will be interesting to see whether he can live up to the expectations. It is indeed special to hear such a statement from a living legend like The Undertaker. Soon after this, Omos got emotional and even thanked him on Twitter.

The Undertaker thinks the WWE Raw superstar is different from everybody else on the roster. Well, Omos has certainly got the potential. But it will take a lot to reach the heights achieved by André the Giant.
