Abu Dhabi Grand Prix F1 Practice Schedule: Where to Watch, Timings, Live Stream & Weather Forecast

Well, this is it! After 21 rounds of intense battle, it all comes down to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The championship scenario could not be simpler as both Hamilton and Verstappen are tied on points. Whoever scores more points in the last race wins the title in 2021.

After fierce rivalries and extraordinary racing throughout the season, the finale could not be more exciting. And the good news for all F1 fans is that the organizers of the circuit have made certain tweaks to the track. The changes aim to produce better racing and will become faster than before.

So every single driver will go into the practice session on Friday to drive and learn the ‘new’ track.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix: Timings and where to watch the Practice sessions?

The drivers will aim to find the best setup and balance of their cars in the FP1 sessions while going for some fast laps during the FP2 sessions.

As reported by Motorsport.com, fans can watch the practice sessions of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from the comfort of their homes. Below is the list of countries and their local times to watch the sessions:

Free Practice 1: 13:30 – 14:30 local time
Free Practice 2: 17:00 – 18:00 local time

UK:

Free Practice 1: 09:30 – 10:30 GMT
Free Practice 2: 13:00 – 14:00 GMT

US:

Free Practice 1: 04:30 – 05:30 ET / 01:30 – 02:30 PT
Free Practice 2: 08:00 – 09:00 ET / 05:00 – 06:00 PT

Spain:

Free Practice 1: 10:30 – 11:30 CET
Free Practice 2: 14:00 – 15:00 CET

Australia:

Free Practice 1: 20:30 – 21:30 AEDT

UK: Sky Sports and Channel 4

Spain- DAZN

Brazil- TV Band

India- Star

Australia- Fox Sports

Netherlands- Serves TV

USA- ESPN

You can also live stream the race if you cannot access the practice sessions free-to-air. F1 fans in the UK can simply live stream the race at Sky while Indian fans can live stream the FP1 and FP2 on Disney+Hotstar. Other fans can live stream the entire coverage of the sessions on the F1TV app.

Will the weather play its part in the title decider in the desert?

The chance of rain on race day is pretty low. So fans across the world and in Abu Dhabi can expect dry conditions throughout the sessions.

The conditions in Abu Dhabi are expected to be sunny. The temperature can reach 26 degrees in the day while the minimum temperature throughout the day would be 22 degrees.
