Before we discuss more about the island, you should know there is only a 3% chance of encountering this island. Indeed, it’s quite a rare island and you should feel lucky if you ever come across the island. Moreover, there is also a condition for players to meet in order to encounter Sar fragment island. It is that users must have experienced June 15 (Northern hemisphere) or December 15 (Southern Hemisphere).

Therefore, if you are a Southern Hemisphere player, there is no chance that you can visit the island before December 15. Regardless, when you visit the Sar fragment island, you notice that it’s midnight, which means you are right in the middle of a heavy meteor shower. Interestingly, it’s no ordinary meteor shower as there is an 80% chance of seeing a bunch of shooting stars in a minute rather than 50%.

Furthermore, according to some dataminers reports, there’s a 50% chance to see eight shooting stars in a minute. In addition to that, you can get Star fragments just by hitting the rock on the island. It’s similar to a Money Stone; however, you receive Star fragments instead of bells.

Each rock can drop up to eight Star fragments where there is a 14% chance for normal star fragments, 2% for large star fragments, and 7% for each star sign fragment. Nintendo also offers players to collect fragments on the shores of the beaches and a message bottle containing a DIY recipe from Celeste or a Zodiac sign DIY recipe.
