Roman Kemp admitted Naughty Boy annoyed him throughout his stint in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp, after the music producer’s time was packed full of tension.

Naughty Boy was the third star to be voted out the show this year, as the competition continues to narrow down on the ITV series.

But the star caused a stir in the camp after getting into rows with fellow celebrities such as Kadeena Cox and Adam Woodyatt

Now, former contestant Roman has weighed in the drama, saying Naughty was ‘doing his head in’ during his time in Gwrych Castle.

Roman – who came third on the show back in 2019 – said on GMB: ‘It’s my favourite show of the year, and I think that this year, it’s weirdly turned into political commentary for Ant and Dec.

‘But I’m not going to lie, Naughty Boy was doing my head in for a good few weeks.’

He added of his exit: ‘I was shocked that he went, but I think it was the right time.’

The 40-year-old music producer was the fourth celebrity contestant to be voted off the ITV series on Wednesday’s episode after 16 days in the camp.

He was seen involved in bust-ups with David Ginola after the latter told him to do a trial, and EastEnders star Adam, who became angered by his messiness in camp.

The producer also riled up Paralympian Kadeena and Frankie Bridge over the cooking.

He nearly quit the camp just a couple of days in but was later convinced to stay by his fellow campmates.

Naughty was asked about tensions in the camp by Lorraine Kelly in a post-exit interview.

Lorraine remarked: ’In there you’re cold, you’re hungry, you’re exhausted, there’s obviously going to be a few niggles and I think that’s all it was, wasn’t it?’

He responded: ’It was like a teething process, you know? Just getting used to it.

‘To be honest, this is the longest period I’ve spent away from mum for the last couple of years and I kept thinking she was probably missing me and that combined with getting used to The Clink, I think that might have thrown me a bit because I wasn’t expecting that.’

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
