Phoebe Bridgers has gone Instagram official with her boyfriend Paul Mescal by sharing an adorable snap.

The singer-songwriter, 27, and Normal People star, 25, proudly showed off their relationship with a loved-up selfie, one month after making their red carpet debut together.

The Motion Sickness songstress posed a windswept selfie of the couple taking a walk along the pier, with Paul laughing as he leaned in to kiss her head.

Phoebe’s smile was bigger than ever as cosied up to her beau, both of them in matching black outfits.

Phoebe did not write a caption – although a picture like that needs no words – however, her fans were quick to flood the comments with wishes of both happiness and jealousy.

‘I’m so happy for u but sad for me,’ one wrote.

‘I don’t know who I’m more jealous of,’ said another.

‘Y’all make me sick but in a good way,’ joked one.

This is the first time the stars have posted about their relationship online, but they hit the red carpet together at the LACMA Art+Film Gala in November.

At the event hosted by Gucci, Phoebe donned a cream lace blouse with a red tartan skirt, while Paul looked dapper in a black tuxedo.

The couple were first romantically linked to one another after a source told The Sun that they spent a weekend together in August 2020.

Their first public interaction came on Twitter earlier last year after the indie musician watched Sally Rooney’s Normal People.

She tweeted: ‘Finished Normal People and now I’m sad and horny – oh, wait…’

Irish actor Paul responded simply with: ‘I’m officially dead.’

I’m officially dead.

The exchange quickly led to a blossoming friendship (see, thirst tweeting works – shoot your shot!) and the two collaborating on Phoebe’s Saviour Complex music video.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge directed, while Paul starred, with the singer saying it was his idea.

‘He broached it,’ she told Vogue.

‘He was like, “I’m a fan of yours, let’s make something cool.”‘

Phoebe also admitted to NME that she thought Paul was a ‘cute boy’ after watching Normal People, and her heart did ‘a little pitter-patter’ when he followed her back on Instagram.

She isn’t the only one gushing, though, as Paul told her in an Instagram live: ‘I think it’s well documented that I love your music,’ which Phoebe said made her ‘blush.’

Honestly, this relationship is so wholesome!
