Silvery-white dress is perfect for Christmas and can double up for a summer party too, says Jane Moore

LOOK no further than this dress to get you through Christmas.

In a flattering silvery-white pattern (rather than the more obvious, “oven-ready chicken” foil look), it’s fresh as well as bang on-trend with the puffed sleeves and tiered, mid-length skirt.

It’s light to wear and, importantly for an evening of dancing/sitting/ cooking/whatever, doesn’t crease easily either.

I also love the neckline and given you could wear it for soirees with friends, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, it’s value for money.

It can be the ultimate Christmas party dress or, thanks to its subtlety, could easily be dug out for a summer drinks party too.

For that extra bit of glam, I’m wearing earrings that look more expensive than the bargain they are, plus silver heels that go with just about anything.
