Strictly Come Dancing 2021 may be coming to an end soon (sob), but fans across the nation still have the Christmas special to look forward to, with the songs and routines revealed in a first look!
The cast for the highly-anticipated festive offering was recently announced, with former Great British Bake Off star Mel Giedroyc and broadcasting legend Moira Stuart leading the line-up.
They will also be competing against TV and radio presenter Adrian Chiles, First Dates maître d’ Fred Sirieix, The Repair Shop star Jay Blades and singer Anne-Marie… so we have a feeling it’s going to be a tough competition.
Ahead of the Strictly semi-final on Saturday – featuring the remaining celebrities AJ Odudu, John Whaite, Rose Ayling-Ellis and Rhys Stephenson – fans were offered a glimpse of what’s to come from the dancefloor on Christmas Day.
In her picture with professional dance partner Neil Jones, Mel looks like she’d been transported back to the 90s, sporting a retro look for her Couple’s Choice routine to Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice.
Moira and her partner Aljaž Škorjanec are on the complete opposite end of the spectrum, dressed in extremely traditional ensembles for their Salsa to Justin Bieber’s version of Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.

Next up is Fred, who dyed his hair red to match dancer Dianne Buswell as the pair prepare for their Quickstep to Merry Christmas Everyone by Shakin’ Stevens.
The Voice coach Anne-Marie opted for a more glamorous look, wearing a black, tasseled dress alongside her dapper pro Graziano Di Prima for their Cha Cha to Gwen Stefani’s Feliz Navidad.

Jay is dressed up warm for his routine, wearing a thick coat and his signature cap while posing next to Luba Mushtuk, who will take on the Jive to Hooky Street / Only Fools And Horses by John Sullivan / Ronnie Hazlehurst, clearly taking inspiration from the sitcom for their outfits.
Last but not least is Adrian, who’s dressed to the nines in a suave tailcoat suit while new Strictly pro Jowita Przystał wears a beautiful pink gown to match the ambience of their American Smooth to White Christmas by Otis Redding.
