In a close matchup, the Brooklyn Nets emerged victorious against the Atlanta Hawks. The game went down to the wire with both teams facing some trouble. However, the Nets held their composure and took home yet another win. As the atmosphere got intense, things got heated between Kevin Durant and Trae Young.

Basketball does not lack these moments of tension. In a competitive atmosphere, such moments grow frequently. Neither Durant nor Young are strangers to these moments of conflict between teams and players.

So when Durant came in with a shove, Trae Young did not back down.

As the game cut close in the fourth quarter, the Hawks were attempting to tie the game. Young was on point at the time, scoring five quick points.

As Young was trying to get a screen for Capela, Durant shoved him from behind and stood over him. Young did not back down and tried to retaliate. Both teams had to come in to separate the two stars.

As for the game, the Nets took over the game in the fourth quarter after being down at the half. Unsurprisingly, Durant led the way for Brooklyn once again with 31 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 blocks. James Harden contributed with a double double of 20 points and 11 assists. The Nets improved to 18-8 with this win.

For the Hawks, after having a 2 point lead going into the final stage, they fell apart. The Hawks could only score 14 points in the 4th while the Nets went off for 24. Trae Young added 31 points, and 10 assists for the night. The trio of Capela, Collins and Huerter combined for 53 points in the loss. The Hawks now sit at 13-13.

With such competitiveness early in the season, it only goes to show the intensity when it matters most. The last season and playoff atmosphere will be on a whole other level and shall be a must-watch.
