Christmas is always an occasion to celebrate. Likewise, the league shows its creative side and makes a commercial for the festive season. While there have been many great commercials over the years, this year they chose to get some legends from the NBA and WNBA for the same.

Players such as Pau Gasol and Baron Davis were among the few names in the Christmas commercial.

The week around Christmas is always marked by big games and an exciting atmosphere for the NBA. After a successful commercial to celebrate 75 years, the NBA continues to impress with their recent one. The league often goes all out with their Christmas celebrations.

Notably, one of the more famous commercials includes the jingle commercial when LeBron James was with the Heat.

However, this time, the NBA chose the cozy setting of a home with all legends at the table to celebrate the holidays.

As the NBA started off the year with the theme of family, they chose to continue it with their Christmas celebration as well. The commercial sees a home with a typical Christmas celebration. It then goes to the dinner table with legends such as Pau Gasol, Baron Davis, Shawn Marion, and others watching NBA games.

Like any other, this NBA Christmas is set to be another exciting holiday. Big names are headlining this year’s holiday, keeping the tradition alive. The NBA will relive some old rivalry while also giving the fans what they want this season to kick start the holiday spirit.

Christmas will be headlined by the matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Brooklyn Nets. Kevin Durant against LeBron James is always a game worth watching. Moreover, with these two super teams matching up, it will be exciting to see who draws up an early advantage.

Giannis Antetokounmpo will also feature as the Bucks take on Boston. Rekindling their playoff rivalry from last year, the New York Knicks will face off against the Atlanta Hawks this Christmas as well. After Trae Young took care of the Knicks last season, they will be desperate to get back at the Hawks. To prove that, there is no better opportunity than Christmas.
