Sportsmanship moments mainly include honestly speaking out, aiding the opponent when needed, respecting your competitor, and so on. On the basis of this, the esteemed ‘Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award’ is given.

2021 Sportsmanship moments in Tennis
Aside from nerve-wracking moments, the 2021 ATP seasons saw some of tennis’ greatest sportsmanship. Understanding and devotion to fair play, ethical behavior and integrity, and overall goodwill toward an opponent are all examples of sportsmanship.
In addition, it proves that a player is disciplined enough to keep his or her cool, retain calm, and do what is best for his or her teammates. Many new friendships were particularly built this year among players.
Each year, more and more of these moments emerge. Players appear to love the game of tennis regardless of whether they win or lose. Moreover, even major players including Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Dominic Thiem, Alexander Zverev, Daniil Medvedev, and others have shown that they value the sport.
It’s great to watch such historic events on the ATP Tour. All of the players’ sportsmanship will be remembered.

Rafael Nadal and Frances Tiafoe nominated for the Sportsmanship award
Rafael Nadal and Frances Tiafoe have been nominated for the Stefan Edberg sportsmanship award for the year 2021. This consideration has been based on their exhibition of true sportsmanship on the court.
Rafael Nadal has won the prestigious award the previous three years. In all, the Spaniard has won four sportsmanship awards. Roger Federer tops the list with a huge total of 12 Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship awards.

The American, Frances Tiafoe is one of the most congenial players on the ATP Tour, and is a widely loved opponent. Furthermore, it’ll be intriguing to see who win the award for the year 2021.
