Stefanos Tsitsipas Picks Max Verstappen Over Lewis Hamilton for World Championship in Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2021

Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas has been one of the most prominent players amongst the younger lot. The manner in which he has given the best players a run for their money, makes him a real force in the game.

Recently, Stefanos Tsitsipas gave his opinion on the scenes in Formula One. At the moment, things have heated up and it has come down to the wire. Top drivers Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are competing for the Championship this season.

Both players are tied on the same points, 369.5 each. The 7-time champion can create history if he wins the race and will do what no other racer has done, to win 8 Formula One titles. On the other hand, Verstappen has the opportunity to win the title himself and has never come this close to doing so.

It is one of the rare instances in which both players are tied on the same points and have an equal shot to go for glory. Today was the qualifying and Max topped the charts to claim pole position for the final race at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2021.

Speaking on this topic, Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas backed Max to go all the way and stated, “I’m rooting for Max. I hope he wins the title and makes us all proud.”

Coming to tennis, Tsitsipas came to the semifinal of the Australian Open this season. After that, he won his first ATP Masters 1000 title in Monte Carlo. He then reached his first Grand Slam final at Roland Garros

Sadly, things did not go according to plan for the Greek player. He lost in the opening round at Wimbledon and in the initial stages at the US Open. We wish him all the best for the upcoming 2022 season.
