George Kambosos vs. Teofimo Lopez Doping Test Results Are Out
Teofimo Lopez took on George Kambosos Jr. on 27th November. Many expected the fight to be an easy title defense for Lopez. However, the Australian Kambosos gave him one of the toughest fights of his life.
George Kambosos Jr. did what no other fighter did before. He stood in the center of the ring and went toe to toe with one of the most lethal punchers in the division. Not only did he take every punch Lopez threw, but he also gave it back to the former champion.

More than two weeks after this shock loss, The Voluntary Anti-Doping Association released the test results for the Lopez vs Kambosos fight. They revealed the results via their Twitter saying, “Congratulations to @georgekambosos @TeofimoLopez for successfully completing @Vada_Testing.”
Both fighters successfully passed their drug tests, which further legitimizes Kambosos‘ win. The Australian will now focus on defending his title next since Lopez is not interested in fighting Kambosos at lightweight again.

Lopez is looking to take his fighting skills to another division, while Kambosos looks to solidify his status as champion. The lightweight division is one of the most star-studded divisions in boxing and Kambosos got a lot of call-outs when he beat Lopez.
The Australian has not picked his next opponent yet. No matter who it is, the fight will be very interesting; since the lightweight division is so star-studded, there are a lot of super fights to make.

Lomachenko has been wanting a title shot ever since he lost his belts to Lopez back in 2020. The two-time Olympic gold medallist and former unified champion of the world has only one goal on his mind, to become the ‘Undisputed’ lightweight champion of the world.
The biggest way to achieve his goal is to reclaim his unified titles, that hang around the waist of George Kambosos Jr. “I will go anywhere I need to go to fight him,” Lomachenko said. “I need this chance.”
