Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about her long-distance relationship with boyfriend Tommy Fury, and states she simply ‘trusts’ him not to cheat.
The couple met on Love Island in 2019 and remain one of the few couples still going strong after leaving the villa.
In recent months, the pair have had to spend long periods of time apart with Tommy often training for boxing fights in Las Vegas and Molly-Mae either in the UK or jetting off on exotic photo shoots for PrettyLittleThing, of which she is creative director.
However, their relationship hasn’t been impacted by the distance and, in fact, seems to be stronger than ever.
Speaking to Steven Barlett on his Diary of a CEO podcast, Molly-Mae explained: ‘We don’t see each other for weeks on end at the moment and we’ve become really good at the long-distance thing.
‘One thing that I find so key in our relationship and it’s the most important thing that I think in any relationship is trust. We have that complete and utter trust in one another and in a relationship, that’s all you need to survive.’
She continued: ‘If you’ve got that trust, everything else just falls into place because he could literally go away for weeks on end and there’s not a doubt in my mind that if he was to be around a load of girls, I could sleep peacefully at night knowing he’s for me and I’m for him and that’s that.
‘You’ve got trust, you’ve got everything.’
The 22-year-old stated they ‘know’ their relationship will last ‘forever’ and are excited for their future together, including having children and getting married.

Molly-Mae then said: ‘I don’t see our relationships as a job, I just see it as a part of my life. It’s just there and I’m just so blessed it works so well.
‘We never have any problems, we’re so lucky – obviously we’re not perfect, I’m not going to sit here and say we don’t argue like cat and dog, we definitely do, he drives me crazy.’
More: Love Island
It’s been a tough year for Tommy, 22, and Molly-Mae after they were forced to leave their Manchester apartment following a burglary where the thieves made off with £800,000 worth of goods.
They’ve now moved into a new property together but plan on buying their first home soon.
