The police presence came after an incident was reported at the school and residents want to know what is going on.

A video on the citizen app, which was seen by WCNC, reportedly showed multiple Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department vehicles near the visitor parking lot of the school.

It was later reported that the police response was due to an alleged school shooting.

At this time, police have not confirmed if anyone has been injured however, they have confirmed that shots were “fired on the property but not inside any school building.”

WCNC later reported that this incident comes just one week after two weapons were found in the school’s parking lot.
