I’m A Celebrity…. Get Me Out Of Here! star Frankie Bridge has revealed her husband Wayne Bridge was instructed by their children not to vote for her to stay in the competition, as they were missing her too much.
The former pop star, 32, finished in third place on the hit survival series, with Danny Miller being crowned King of the castle, and soap star Simon Gregson as runner-up.
The mum-of-two reunited with her sons Parker, eight, and Carter, six, on Monday night, and it was then she found out from former footballer Wayne just how much they had missed her.
She told Metro.co.uk: ‘They didn’t really say anything as I walked in, they just jumped on me.
‘The boys came into bed with me and Parker would keep touching me to make sure I was there.
‘Then Wayne told me that they asked him not to vote so I would come home earlier.’

In her first Instagram post since returning home, the TV star was seen posing with both sons on either side of her.
She captioned the heartfelt image: ‘Reunited and it feels so good! ❤️ back with all my boys… back on a sofa… back home! 😍 Thank you to everyone who voted for me on @imacelebrity I still can’t quite believe it… what a crazy ride!’
After explaining the adorable moment from her boys, the Loose Women presenter opened up about life in the castle.
She endured her fair share of horrific Bushtucker trials, including the Scary-Oke ring a bell for anyone, and the brutal eating trial was the worst it got.
The gruesome task involved Frankie and producer Naughty Boy downing some disgusting drinks while belting out some classic hits, however, it’s safe to say that this particular trial has put the singer off traditional karaoke for life.
Reflecting on the challenge, The Saturdays icon said: ‘It ticked a lot of my boxes of being sick and being a fussy eater.
‘I knew I would find an eating trial hard, but a drinking one would be harder for me.

‘They’re not smooth and they always have bits at the bottom so it’s almost like an eating and drinking trial in one. Never again.’
Grim.
The What About Us singer also opened up about her mental breakdown on the show to Olympic diver Matty Lee, who described the conversation as being a ‘massive eye-opener’.
Although Frankie hasn’t yet had the time to catch up with friends and other family members, she explained how aware she was of ‘the big moment’ and how ‘touched’ she was that others were able to relate.
Looking ahead to the future, Frankie has confessed she’s keen to see some of her Loose Women co-stars take on the castle, or the jungle if the ITV series returns to Australia.

‘I’d love to see Kaye Adams on there because she has such a wicked sense of humour and we’re always giving each other a hard time, so I’d quite like to watch her squirm in there.
‘[Janet-Street Porter] she would be so funny. I’d love it.’
I’m A Celebrity is available to stream on ITV Hub.
