Strictly Come Dancing 2021: Giovanni Pernice’s relationship timeline as he reaches final with Rose Ayling-Ellis

This week, Giovanni Pernice and Rose Ayling-Ellis are gearing up to compete in the Strictly Come Dancing final on BBC One, with only three couples left in the competition.
The pair sizzled while performing their Argentine Tango on Saturday night, undoubtedly hoping that all of their hard work will pay off as they set the Glitterball Trophy in their sights.
While Rose has been in a relationship with her boyfriend for seven years, Strictly heartthrob Giovanni is believed to be currently single.
Given the incredible chemistry that he and Rose are able to portray on the dancefloor, it should come as no surprise that viewers take a keen interest in the professional dancer’s personal life.
Here is Giovanni’s relationship timeline as he reaches yet another Strictly final.
Georgia May Foote

In 2016, Giovanni and Georgia May Foote revealed that they were an item.
The dancer and former Coronation Street star competed on Strictly together the previous year, finishing as joint runners-up as The Wanted singer Jay McGuinness and his partner Aliona Vilani took the crown.
Georgia was in a relationship with her Corrie co-star Sean Ward while competing on the show, with the pair splitting up ahead of the final.
She and Giovanni broke up shortly before the 2016 series commenced.
Jessica Wright

The Only Way Is Essex star Jessica Wright, who recently announced her pregnancy months after tying the knot with William Lee-Kemp, is another of Giovanni’s old flames.
They made their red carpet debut in March 2018, having previously revealed their romance on social media.
In April of that year, it was reported that they had broken up after a five-month relationship.

Georgia isn’t the only Strictly alum that Giovanni has dated, as he also counts Pussycat Dolls star Ashley Roberts as one of his exes.
Ashley took part on the show in 2018, finishing as a runner-up with her partner Pasha Kovalev, the same position as Giovanni and his partner, Steps singer Faye Tozer.
They confirmed their relationship at the end of 2018, sharing several loved-up snaps on social media during their romance.
However, in January 2020 they announced that they had decided to go their separate ways.

Shortly after Maura Higgins split from fellow Love Island star Chris Taylor, she was linked with the Strictly pro.
In July this year, the reality star confirmed the rumours with an intimate picture on Instagram, writing ‘I’m yours’ in the caption alongside a red heart emoji.
In October, it emerged that their four-month relationship had come to an end, amid the current series of Strictly.
Before their split, it was said that things had quickly become serious with the pair, with a source telling MailOnline that they were looking into moving in together.
The Strictly Come Dancing final airs this Saturday at 7pm on BBC One.
