Delighted Pete Davidson flashes thumbs up at New York Knicks game as Kim Kardashian requests termination of Kanye West marriage

Pete Davidson couldn’t hide his smile as he headed to the New York Knicks game, amid his rumored relationship with Kim Kardashian.

The Saturday Night Live comedian, 28, has been linked to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 41, following her split from ex-husband Kanye West.

While they have yet to publicly speak on the speculation, they recently appeared to confirm the dating claims as they held hands in Palm Springs.

As the rumormill keeps spinning, the SNL favorite appeared at a basketball game at Madison Square Garden in New York, and grinned widely for the occasion.

Far from keeping a low profile, Pete rocked a bright pink hoodie with jeans and trainers for the game.

At one point, he could be seen sticking his tongue out and flashing a thumbs up as he posed for pictures, beside Jon Steward and Chris Rock.

It turned out to be a history-making night as Golden State Warriors’ Steph Curry broke Ray Allen’s record to become the NBA’s leader in three-pointers.

While it wasn’t a victorious night for Pete’s Knicks, who lost 105-96, he didn’t let the score get his mood down, as he was spotted cheering from the sidelines.

His appearance comes days after Kim requested that her marriage to Kanye is immediately terminated.

The Skims businesswoman initially filed for divorce from the Stronger rapper – who she shares children North, Saint, Chicago and Palm with – in February, six years after they tied the knot.

According to the mogul, no reconciliation will be ‘of any value at this time’ – she also alleged that her former partner failed to respond to ‘several’ requests to terminate their marriage.

In legal documents, she said there would be ‘no prejudice’ to the musician if the marriage was dissolved, and that both parties deserved the ‘opportunity to build new lives’.

‘I submit this declaration in support of my request for an order bifurcating and terminating the status of my marriage to respondent, Kanye West,’ she said. ‘Irreconcilable differences have existed and continue to exist between (West) and me, which have caused our marriage to irretrievably break down.

‘No counseling or reconciliation effort will be of any value at this time.

‘There will be no prejudice to (West) if our marriage is immediately dissolved, especially given the fact that throughout our marriage, we adhered to the terms of our premarital agreement and maintained the separate property character of our assets.’

She continued: ‘I have been attempting to settle our dissolution with (West) since I filed for divorce in February 2021.

‘I have requested several times that (West) agree to bifurcate and terminate our marital status.

‘(West) has not responded to my request.

‘(West) and I both deserve the opportunity to build new lives. Therefore, I am asking that my request to bifurcate and terminate our marital status be granted.’

The request was submitted to the Los Angeles Superior Court on November 21 – days before Kanye publicly begged for Kim to ‘run back to him’ on stage at a concert.
