“You’re The Definition Of Trash”: NBA Fans Destroy ‘Donald Trump’s Favorite Author’ For Discrediting Stephen Curry’s Three Point Record

NBA fans often appreciate Stephen Curry and his unique shooting ability. Curry’s reputation of scoring three-pointers precedes his name as various commentators in basketball hail him for changing the game. The Golden State Warriors star has transformed the NBA and the game along with it.

However, like all successful athletes, Curry has his critics.

Curry has just broken the record for most three-pointers scored in the NBA. His current tally stands at 2,977 three-pointers in just 789 NBA regular-season games. Curry overtook Ray Allen, in the match against the New York Knicks in a game at Madison Square Garden.

The Warriors superstar reached and surpassed Allen’s record in 511 games less than the latter. Allen famously played in the NBA from 1996 until his retirement in 2014. Moreover, Allen was present at Curry’s historic game and congratulated the new record holder.

Currently, Curry remains just 23 more three-pointers away from reaching the 3,000 three-pointer mark.

Curry justly received praise from NBA fans for breaking a long-time record that many considered unbreakable. However, like all sports, the NBA also has fans that criticize a player on their own whims and fancies. To other NBA fans’ credit, however, they do not let distasteful opinions slide by, without roasting the author.

NBA fans react to wild hot take about Stephen Curry

Nick Adams who has described himself as “Trump’s favourite author” posted the bizarre tweet on Twitter. Adams implied that Curry would not be able to sustain his success in the 80s and 90s era of the NBA. It is no surprise then that other NBA fans took shots at Adam’s outlandish claim.

Steph Curry wouldn’t have made it 25 minutes on a basketball court in the 80s and 90s when the NBA game included defense and teamwork.

Breaking the 3 point record means nothing in 2021.

Here are some of the hilarious reactions to Adams’ tweet:

You’re the definition of trash. You’re garbage. You couldn’t even respond to my 1-1 challenge because you have the backbone of a straw. You’re spineless, worthless nonsense who spews only hate. You’re a coward who wouldn’t say a damn word to Steph’s face. Go away ratio man. https://t.co/foZdAOJon7

A three-time NBA champion, Curry has spent his entire NBA career at the Warriors.
