New Xbox Elite console ‘revealed’ – and it looks BETTER than a PS5
NEVER before seen images of a next-generation Xbox Elite have been shared online.

It’s not entirely unrealistic: Microsoft has been rumoured to be working on a souped-up version of the Xbox Series X.
This mooted console would be even more powerful in a bid to better rival the PlayStation 5.
The slick concept images were published by tech blog LetsGoDigital, and made in collaboration with Concept Creator and Phone Industry.
Microsoft hasn’t confirmed any such Xbox Elite console, but it’s easy to imagine.
And Microsoft already uses the Elite branding for its high-performance Xbox Elite controllers.
The gadget looks classically Xbox, borrowing the bright green lights from previous models.

But it retains some of the boxy vented exterior of the current Xbox Series X.
The console is pictured with a disc slot, an eject button and four USB connections on the exterior.
This new console also has a much flatter design than the Xbox Series X, which could make it easier to fit in a TV cabinet.
On the back is a further two USB ports, a HDMI slot, and ports for the power cable, ethernet and storage expansion.
Microsoft has previously upgraded consoles halfway through a generation.
The Xbox One S and Xbox One X came long after the original Xbox One launched.
In any case, you might find it just as hard to get your hands on a regular Xbox Series X as an imaginary Xbox Elite.
Both the Xbox Series X and PS5 have been largely sold out since they launched in November.
So for many desperate gamers, they might as well not exist.
