Far Cry 6 Finally Debuts Danny Trejo DLC After Horrific Blunder Last Month

Far Cry 6 has an array of events planned as a part of the game’s life cycle. One such event is featuring the massively popular actor Danny Trejo. However, Ubisoft inadvertently released the event a whole month before the schedule. This obviously spoiled the playing experience for some users before Ubisoft took it down. Finally, the event has officially been released today on the planned date.

Far Cry 6 Danny Trejo event and the blunder before release

This free DLC event contains 2 missions. Hollywood legend Danny Trejo lends his likeliness to this event. Unlike others, his role is not of a character. In fact, he plays himself. The first mission of this event was inadvertently released in November, one month before it was supposed to release. Players could play what Ubisoft calls a ‘ “work-in-progress” edition of the DLC. The game’s official Twitter handle took to a post to issue a clarification. The post said that the event was released ahead of the planned date and apologized for the same.

The Dani & Danny vs Everybody mission is a work-in-progress and was accidentally released early. We’re working to remove it and look forward to when players can check out the final version.

Danny Trejo, acting as himself is cooking tacos in this DLC. The first mission is called Danny & Danny vs Everybody. The mission sees the protagonist teaming up with the legend. The duo fight against Castillo’s forces as they prevent Danny from feeding Tacos to the hungry people of Yara.

Upon completion, another mission is unlocked. The game has Special Operations. The second mission of this event is the sixth and final mission of Special Operations. This operation sees Trejo helping students of the island protest against Castillo’s military.

Far Cry 6 sees Danny Rojas, a guerilla fight against dictator Anton Castillo’s iron fist rule in the Cuba-inspired location of Yara.

The game is available for Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 4, Amazon Luna, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and, Microsoft Windows
