Twitter Reacts to Call of Duty Warzone Temporarily Removing Rebirth Island From the Game

Call of Duty Warzone is going through a transitional phase, where everything old is being phased out. Everything started with the removal of Verdansk from active duty; the map was replaced by a new Pacific map. The studio also rolled out the first of its kind kernel-level anti-cheat system with the new season’s update to protect the interest of legitimate players.

Now Raven Software has taken yet another controversial decision, which hasn’t pleased the community. The studio has removed Rebirth Island temporarily from the game and replaced it with a brand new game mode.

The chaotic nature of the island and how it facilitated never-ending action served as the perfect game mode for Warzone players to hone their gunplay. Now its removal has sparked debate within the community while the Battle Royale title continues to evolve.

Fans stand divided as Rebirth Island exits Call of Duty Warzone

The massive Caldera update has brought a myriad of changes to the game. As a part of the continued evolution of the title, Rebirth island has also parted ways with the game.

Moreover. the update is causing unprecedented issues for gamers, as their respective gaming devices are reportedly freezing. Both PC and console gamers have experienced this issue, and it seems like the latest update is flawed.

Hey guys serious question, since this caldera update I been having issues with cod and my Playstation freezes and its never happened before until these recent updates. It’s the game right? Also anybody else got these issues

This is what was happening to me every time I respawned after the update…… Literally unplayable pic.twitter.com/mfzwR6pZOB

This fan shared an amusing reason as to why Activision might have chosen to part ways with the game mode.

I think they removed rebirth Island because there were a lot of people IN THE SAME PLACE and COVID levels could rise, so that was their best option. I consider that they should have sent everyone with masks to be protected from jumping out of the plane.

Even the newly added game mode is flawed and has crazy problems. The game seems to log gamers out without any explanation after the conclusion of a game.

Why do I keep getting this after one game of Vanguard Resurgence mr Douglas pic.twitter.com/qxZqEkOLSb

Frequent crashes and log out were bad, but the gameplay lag and undue freeze aren’t acceptable at all. The latest update has truly made the title a displeasing experience as issues continue to pile up.

hopefully its for this pic.twitter.com/ztvDkt9eH2

Other fans have experienced the client not being able to load certain resources, which is leading them to be locked out. What is happening to Raven Software? Fans are demanding answers as the frustration continues to mount.

Fans are clamoring for the return of Rebirth Island to the game, as no one is a big fan of the new game mode.

Wth, hire some good devs. The game needs Rebirth cause Caldera is an unfinished product

2 years into its life cycle and Activision hasn’t added a solid update that didn’t invent new problems.

CAN THEY FUCKING RELEASE A SOLID UPDATE FFS?¡?¡?

The community’s frustration is understandable, as things haven’t improved to the extent the players wanted. The game is still in horrible condition, and each update, while solving some problems, introduces new ones.
