Urgent warning issued to millions of iPhone users over ‘dangerous’ iOS 15 Bluetooth update
A SERIOUS warning has been issued for millions of iPhone users after reports of Bluetooth-connectivity issues with iOS 15.
iPhone users are saying there are significant issues affecting hands-free system devices in cars found in both iOS 15.1 and iOS 15.1.1.

The problems are now being introduced in iOS 15.2 for users who, previously had no issues. Users are voicing their frustrations on Twitter and the Apple Support Communities threads.
Multiple motor vehicles are reporting problems including Acura, Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Lincoln, Mazda, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Porsche, Toyota and Volvo.
“I used my Highlander for a call and about 3 minutes in the Bluetooth drops, making me find my phone and quickly putting it on speaker [while driving’ to finish the call or hang it up,” said one user.
“This is soooo unsafe and makes me not want to use the phone in the car.”
To date, there wasn’t been a fix for the situation and Apple has yet to publicly acknowledge the issue.
iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models seem to have the most issues being reported though all iOS 15-supported models have been affected.

Some users claim that iOS 15.2 but these appear to be rare cases as Apple hasn’t made a statement about a fix in the official release notes. Despite iOS 15.1.1’s release intending to “improve call drop performance”, it has had the opposite effect.
iPhone 13 users are also reporting that they’ve had problems with car connectivity since iOS 15 first launched, fearing that it could be a hardware issue after Apple recalled the iPhone 12 due to audio problems.
