Strictly Come Dancing star AJ Odudu returned back to the screen to guest present Morning Live and fans have requested for her to have a regular spot on the show.

The TV presenter, who was partnered with Kai Widdrington, had quite an emotional weekend after she attended the Strictly grand final after she was forced to withdraw due to a serious foot injury.

But, it was back to business for AJ, as she posted a picture of her rocking her medical moon boot while standing next to host Rav Wilding.

She wrote: ‘Today 9:15am On @bbcone I’ve whacked on my big girl pants to guest present Morning Live with @ravwilding. See you in a few!’

Fans were delighted to see AJ in high spirits, and some even begged bosses to hire the star as a permanent presenter on the morning programme.

One viewer wrote: ‘The only way to make us watch morning TV? Hire @AJOdudu.’

Strictly’s grand final saw Rose Ayling-Ellis lifting the Glitterball trophy alongside professional partner Giovanni Pernice and Great British Bake Off winner John Whaite was runner-up with Johannes Radebe.

AJ struggled to hold back the tears after watching the two finalists perform, but her fellow contestants and the audience filled the ballroom with cheer as hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly wished her well.

Speaking to presenter Claudia, she said: ‘I don’t know how to describe what it feels like to have a broken heart, and that’s what it feels like.
