Biden, 79, says he WILL run in 2024 in David Muir interview if ‘in good health’ after aide’s Covid scare

PRESIDENT Joe Biden has announced that he plans to run for re-election in 2024.

“Yes. But look, I’m a great respecter of fate. Fate has intervened in my life many, many times. If I’m in the health I’m in now, if I’m in good health, then in fact, I would run again,” Biden told ABC New’s David Muir on Wednesday.

When asked if he would be possibly taking on former president Donald Trump again, Biden said that “only increases the prospects” on running.

The president also gave his thoughts on the January 6 riot at the Capitol, saying “I think accountability is necessary.”

“No matter where it goes. Those responsible should be held accountable,” he added.
