‘Exhausted’: Venus Williams Gets Into Shopping Mode as She Enjoys Holiday Getaway in Paris
Seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams appears to be in travel mode right now as she is in vacation currently in Paris. The American, who last played at the Chicago Women’s Open in August, had a busy couple of months owing to the promotions of ‘King Richard’.
Updating her vacay time on her Instagram stories, Venus revealed one of her favorite spots to visit in Paris -Place Vendome.

Looks like Venus went out of her way to shop and also posted a tired photo of herself and wrote, “It was just too much shopping. I’m exhausted. However I will stay strong and carry on”.
Coming to tennis, Venus, currently ranked no.319 on the singles circuit, was not handed a wild-card by the Australian Open organizers. However, the American is also yet to reveal her leg recovery status that forced her out of the US Open this year.
While the chances of Venus flying to Australia looks unlikely at the moment with the ‘happy slam’ not offering a wild card, there is a slight chance of her choosing to play the qualifiers if she feels fully recovered.

Venus teamed up with Kyrgios at Wimbledon to produce a dream on-court pair
The American couldn’t produce a significant run in any of the tournaments she participated this year as youngsters got the better off her on most occasions. With the passion towards the sport remaining as intact as ever, fans can expect Venus playing more tournaments next year as well.
Even though her appearances this year were minimal, the American managed to impress fans at Wimbledon, where she played both singles and mixed-doubles.
While her singles campaign ended with a second-round loss to Ons Jabeur, she teamed up with Nick Kyrgios and the duo had fun during their opening round match and ended up victorious.
Just when more fireworks were expected on-court from the two, Kyrgios withdrew from his third-round match against Felix Auger-Aliassime midway owing to an abdomen injury and had to give walkover in the mixed-doubles second round too.
Along with solo performances, it will be enthralling to witness Venus Williams participate in doubles and mixed-doubles events more next year on the WTA tour.
