The Chase Christmas Special: Full cast of celebrities in the 2021 quiz

THE Chase fans are in for a treat as the show returns TONIGHT (December 24 for an episode for the festive season.

The will air on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day with eight celebs taking on The Chasers.

Who stars in The Chase Christmas Special?

Host Bradley Walsh will be joined by a team of four celebs for each Christmas special.

The celebs will be hoping to outmaneuver the formidable chasers to secure thousands of pounds for charity – but who are they? Here’s a full list…

Lesley Joseph – Episode One

Lesley Joseph is appearing on the Christmas Eve episode of The Chase Celebrity Special

Legendary actress Lesley Joseph is the first celeb hoping she’s got what it takes to beat the chasers.

Lesley, who is best known for role as Dorien Green in sitcom Birds of a Feather, previously appeared on a celebrity special of The Chase in 2014 – so this isn’t her first rodeo.

Judge Jules – Episode One

Judge Jules chose his stage name after studying Law at University

Judge Jules is a DJ, entertainment lawyer and record producer who became well known after securing a regular slot on Radio 1 in 1997.

After leaving the station in 2012, Judge Jules started his own show, The Global Warm Up, which is leased to different radio stations all across the globe.

Jenni Falconer – Episode One

Jenni Falconer previously worked at Heart FM before becoming a breakfast presenter on Smooth

Radio and Television presenter Jenni Falconer will also be joining the celeb team on Christmas Eve.

Jenni, who is best known as the host of the Saturday breakfast show on Smooth London, has also made regular appearances on This Morning as a travel reporter and has even hosted the National Lottery Draws on BBC One.

Patrick Kielty – Episode One

Patrick Kielty is a Comedian married to model Cat Deeley

Rounding out the episode one team is Patrick Kielty, an Irish Comedian who’s previously hosted a quiz show of his own – Debatable, which ran on Channel 4 from 2016 to 2017.

Patrick will be hoping to score some cash for charity before heading off on a three month tour in March 2022.

Kate Silverton – Episode Two

Kate Silverton worked at the BBC for more than twenty years before leaving in June

Journalist and Newsreader Kate Silverton is the first celeb confirmed to appear in the Boxing Day episode of The Chase.

Kate, who briefly worked at a bank before her first broadcasting gig, became a regular presenter of BBC News At One and BBC Weekend News for more than two decades before leaving in June 2021.


Ruthie Henshall – Episode Two

Ruthie Henshall made her West End debut in 1987

West End star Ruthie Henshall is trading tap shoes for trivia this Christmas as she joins the Celebrity chase team.

Ruthie got her big break aged just 19 when she was cast in Cats on the West End, and she since gone on to star in Miss Saigon, Les Miserables and Chicago.

Iain Stirling – Episode Two

Scottish comedian and writer Iain Stirling started his career as a children’s television presenter on CBBC show The Dog Ate My Homework.

In 2015, Iain became the narrator of Love Island and in 2021, the star launched his own sitcom, Buffering, on ITV.

Rev Richard Coles – Episode Two

Rev Richard Coles was in a band in the 1980s before joining the Church

Reverend Richard Coles, who also works as a musician, journalist and raido presenter, is the final celeb set to appear on the show.

Richard, who is currently the vicar of Finedon, a parish located in Northamptonshire, became the host of Radio 4 show Saturday Live back in 2014 and has headed the programme ever since.

When is The Chase Christmas Special on TV and how can I watch it?

The first episode of The Chase Christmas Special will air on Christmas Eve (December 24) on ITV at 5.30pm.

The second episode will be available two days later, on Boxing Day (December 26) at 5pm.

Both episodes will last for an hour and will also be available for streaming on the ITV Hub.
