LadBaby have done it, achieving the incredible, history-making feat of a fourth Christmas number one in a row.
Made up of YouTube star Mark Hoyle and his wife Roxanne, LadBaby have become the first act ever to celebrate four consecutive Christmas number ones, their latest being for novelty track Sausage Rolls for Everyone.
The song is a reworked version of Ed Sheeran and Sir Elton John’s festive single Merry Christmas, featuring both of the artists, with profits being raised in aid of The Trussell Trust food banks.
The road to topping the charts hasn’t been smooth-sailing, with The Kunts recently accusing LadBaby of ‘using food banks to hawk records’ after the couple criticised the band’s ‘vulgar’ Christmas single Boris Johnson Is STILL A F*****g C***.
Nonetheless, LadBaby are overjoyed by their latest achievement, with Mark saying on Friday: ‘Thank you for helping us raise the profile, raise money and awareness for the Trussell Trust, the food banks in the UK and helping support the 14 million people in this country that are living below the [poverty] line. We couldn’t have done it without you.’

Who are LadBaby?
The story of LadBaby began with Mark’s decision to launch a YouTube channel in 2016, where he documented the trials and tribulations of fatherhood, having gone from ‘lad to dad’ after the birth of his two sons with Roxanne.

The graphic designer and lifestyle blogger from Nottingham, who lives in Hemel Hempstead, now regularly shares videos with his wife on their fun domestic life, as well as releasing music for charity.
The first chart-topper came in 2018, with the release of We Built This City, inspired by the Starship’s 1980s song of the same name with the lyrics tweaked to honour sausage rolls.
In 2019, they released I Love Sausage Rolls, inspired by Joan Jett’s I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll, while last year, they made waves with Don’t Stop Me Eatin’, based – of course – on Journey’s song Don’t Stop Believin’.

Mark currently has more than a million subscribers on YouTube and over five million followers on Facebook.
In 2018, he won the Clas Ohlson celebrity dad of the year award, beating the Duke of Cambridge and former One Direction star Liam Payne, while also releasing a book with Roxanne called LadBaby: Parenting for £1 … And Other Baby Budget Hacks.
