The Undertaker will go down in history as one of the greatest wrestlers in all of WWE. His legacy is unmatched and will be cherished forever by the WWE Universe.

For almost three decades, he entertained the fans through his memorable matches. And by doing so, he achieved numerous records and championships. But recently, an interesting fact has emerged about The Phenom.

In a tweet, Wrestle Ops stated 2022 marked the first year since The Undertaker’s debut in 1990 in which he has neither competed nor made a single TV appearance for WWE.

The Undertaker last wrestled in WWE back at WrestleMania 36. At the event, he defeated AJ Styles in a boneyard match. In 2020, he retired from professional wrestling and bid an emotional farewell to the WWE Universe at the 2020 Survivor Series PPV.

The WWE Universe will definitely love to see The Undertaker return to WWE. It is absolutely impossible to think about any WrestleMania PPV without The Phenom. He is truly a living legend. Do you want to see The Undertaker back in WWE in 2022?

The Undertaker talks about his potential return to action inside the squared circle

One thing that the WWE Universe might love to see in 2022 is The Phenom’s return to WWE. Though The Undertaker might make sporadic appearances in WWE in the future, it may not be in a wrestling role.

In an interview with The Dallas Morning News, The Undertaker revealed he is at a point where physically, he can’t perform at a level. The WWE legend mentioned that he can’t give the WWE Universe what they expect from him at this point.

He said, “It’s just at a point where physically, I can’t perform at a level. I mean, I could go out and walk through something and I could get through a match. But I can’t give people what they expect at this point.”

“When you see The Undertaker, you pay money to see that guy wrestle. I can’t deliver physically on what people’s expectations are,” The Undertaker added. The Phenom believes that his time has come and gone. And it is now time for the young WWE Superstars to step up.
