DEAR DEIDRE: I was in a right panic when I wrote to you. I’d been with my partner for four months, and suddenly I was pregnant with this child.

But I’d started feeling sick all the time, and a quick Clear Blue test revealed I was two weeks pregnant.
I’m 25, my partner’s 29 and we met on Hinge.
I’d just got out of a pretty awful long-term relationship – my ex regularly put me down and controlled everything – from my bank balance to the clothes I wore.
So I had planned on dipping my toe in the dating pool again.
But then I met my partner. Everything was going well until I found out that I was expecting.
I was scared to tell him as it was so early on in our relationship – what if it was all too much for him?
But you told me to be honest, which I was. Luckily, my partner was thrilled.
