‘Not My Best Business Night’- Jake Paul Addresses Shocking Pay-Per-View Numbers for His Fight Against Tyron Woodley- Maintains They’re Not Accurate

YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul took to social media and addressed the rumors of his pay-per-view buy rate for his most recent fight. ‘The Problem Child’ faced off against Tyron Woodley for the second time and ended up scoring a knockout in round six. Chiefly, he was supposed to face Tommy Fury, however, the younger Fury pulled out of the contest.

News recently broke that the rematch with Woodley only did 65K PPV buys, a staggering drop from Paul’s previous fights. Some of Jake Paul’s biggest rivals in Jorge Masvidal and Dillon Danis came out and trolled Paul for his low buy rate. Masvidal even went so far as to detach his name from Paul as the two had been jawing back and forth to fight.

Bitch boy can’t afford the big boys Never again do I want to hear my name associated with the fake. 3 0 5 day is coming #supernecessary pic.twitter.com/XloN8Kex88

Jake Paul decided to rubbish the rumors of his disclosed PPV numbers and said the actual metrics are still not finalized. However, Paul would go on to admit that things certainly didn’t go according to plan on the business end of things. He also seemingly blamed Tommy Fury for the drop in numbers and lauded Tyron Woodley for accepting the late-notice fight.

Shoutout to Showtime for riding with me and all the fighters on the card and Tyron for not being a bitch like most of these “fighters” are..

Jake Paul’s knockout over Tyron Woodley

‘The Problem Child’ earned arguably the most impressive knockout of his professional career when he faced off against Woodley the second time. The fight was lacking in action until the finish, and both men continually engaged in the clinch. In fact, even the commentators remarked how slowly paced the fight truly was, even when compared to their first fight.

However, everything would change in an instant once Jake Paul landed a well-placed right hand to Woodley’s temple. The punch was set up with a fake that led ‘T-Wood’ to drop his guard momentarily. The subsequent blow was as clean as they come, and Tyron Woodley folded like a lawn chair almost instantly.

Jake Paul is now 3-0 against former MMA champions and he’s knocked out both of his opponents viciously. It remains to be seen who he chooses to face next as he’ll want to incrementally step up his competition.
