Most players in the NBA are on good terms with one another. However, there are always some rivalries that exist. With LeBron James, it is tough to find a rival due to his image on the court. Despite being a competitor, James is always playing by the rules. But there are some players who get under his skin whenever they match-up. Surprisingly, one of his main obstacles on the court is actually a good friend.

Patrick Beverley is one of the troubling players in the NBA. His primary job may be playing defense, but there isn’t a single game he tries to get under the opponent’s skin. He does everything to throw them off their game and for the most part, it works. Likewise, LeBron has had to go through it too.

However, despite the heated battles, both these stars may actually be real good friends.

LeBron James and Beverley are friends?

With Beverley currently on the Minnesota Timberwolves, he has had a few battles with James so far. Like always, Beverley has lived up to his reputation. In their recent battle, he did everything to throw James off his game. The two share some history when it comes to incidents on the court. However, a video shows the two having a moment before their game.

Right before the game between Los Angeles Lakers and Timberwolves, LeBron was at the shoot around. While there, Beverley approached the King and the two shared a hug. They laughed before having a proper conversation before the game. It is really surprising to see the two share such a bond outside of game time.

Despite this incident, Beverley and James went right at each other. Like always, Beverley kept up his antics while James tried to focus on his game. The former Clipper did all he could to get the Lakers another loss. However, the King’s 26 point night propelled the Lake show to a win.
